Sisiku Ayuktabe has said 9 of them from jail had a meeting on Thursday July 2, 2020 with an envoy of the Government to discuss on ceasefire.

The detainees returned to their cells at around 10 PM after having talks on how to Ceasefire in the English speaking regions of the Country.

Sisiku AyukTabe who is currently serving a life sentence has taken on twitter to announce that he and his “cabinet” met with authorities of the Yaounde regime on Thursday to “initiate a ceasefire following the UN’s call”.

“The details are being discussed and we will update Ambazonians once significant progress is made” Sisiku added.

Many people and organisations are applauding this initiative and as a means to bring the crisis to an end.
